Day Camps!

As a kid I attended several over-night and day camps through 4-H and my church. There are also great camps available here in Sioux Falls! One camp that helps families who may not make enough money to pay all of the registratration fee is offered through the YMCA.

It's Bucket List Time!

With only 6 days left with students, I am getting excited for summer break. While the summer break is not the usual length this summer, there is plenty of time to enjoy more freedom from schedules and school obligations. E ach year my children and I create a summer bucket list to name all the things we want to do to make the most of our time.

I like to ask students to join me and also create a summer bucket list.  I recommend coming up with at least one bucket list item per year of age.  Two required items relate to physical activity and reading.
